For many years I was based in Kent, where I provided guided birding throughout south-east England under the well-known North Kent Birding brand. I now offer guided birding trips in the North and East of Yorkshire, on an on request basis and tailored specifically to your requirements.

- Breeding seabirds including Puffins, Guillemots, Razorbills, Gannets and Kittiwakes on the cliffs at Bempton and Flamborough Head.
- Honey Buzzards and Goshawks in the forests close to Scarborough.
- Peregrines at Scarborough.
- Wintering birds around Scarborough include Purple Sandpiper and Mediterranean Gulls (sometimes also Glaucous or Iceland Gulls), divers and grebes.
- Red Grouse and breeding waders such as Curlew, Lapwing and Golden Plover on the North York Moors.
- Breeding woodland species such as Willow and Marsh Tit and Redstart are regular in the Scarborough area, with Wood Warbler sometimes present.
- Streams and rivers host resident Dippers and Grey Wagtails.
- Nightjars and Woodcock can be seen at a number of locations in the local forests.
- Excellent migrant hotspots such as Flamborough, Filey and the Scarborough coast produce wonderful birding including sea-watching in spring and autumn.
